Baobab Spa was conceived many years ago. As a child, I watched my Mom warm Olive Oil and massage it into my younger brothers hair and skin following their bath each day. That’s when I realized Olive Oil was an amazing moisturizer. Olive oil mimics the natural sebum in your skin. It protects, nourishes and softens your skin.
Baobab Spa was incorporated in 2014 and during that year we were accepted as a Local Vendor in Whole Foods Market in the Tri-State Region. We sell our natural products in Whole Foods Markets in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We sell on Citikidz.com and seasonal shops in Martha”s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Our products are paraben free, sulfate free and pthalate free. We do not test on animals and our packaging is recyclable. The majority of our products are formulated with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Unrefined African Shea Butter. Our goal is to create safe, effective products. We continue to introduce new and healthy products for the total family.
Our Learning Community
We have a small team of dedicated staff that are family and friends learning the business to branch out on their own. We allow students of all grade levels, grandparents and just people excited to learn how to make products they use everyday. Skincare is essential and if you can’t buy it, you should be able to make it and get the full benefit for your skin and well being. Our company takes pride in paying it forward.
